76 years of emotions
In 1947, in the middle of pine trees and dunes, construction began on an elegant tea room, guarded by a magnificent Tudor-style water tower, today known as the L'Auberge tower, all according to the architect's project. Arturo J. Dubourg.
A few months later, construction began on the hotel, which consisted of 10 classic English-style rooms, giving the place an air of tranquility and calm.
In 1967, the hotel and tea room was purchased by its current owners, and from there the history of one of the most iconic places in Parque del Golf and Punta del Este was forged.

A few months later, the construction of the hotel begins, which consisted of 10 rooms of
classic English style,
which gives the place an air of tranquility and calm.
In 1967, the hotel and tea room was purchased by its current owners, and from there the

HISTORY OF L'AUBERGE
Construction begins on the water tower, the first construction in the Parque del Golf neighborhood, necessary to supply the future houses in the neighborhood.
The Hotel L'Auberge is inaugurated, which has 10 rooms on one side of the tower, and a lounge
tea where the Belgian waffles begin to be served.
The first annex is built, which
It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, two
garages below and a porch.
The water tower is acquired as
part of the hotel property.
The tower is transformed to house
14 rooms. In the most part
high works the bar Le Donjon.

14 rooms are built in
10 floors inside the tower, a Bar
on the 12th floor and a viewpoint on the
top floor (14).
The meeting room is inaugurated
for the IDB congress.
The second Annex is built
with 12 excellent rooms,
plus the pool and barbecue and the
expansion of the garden park.
L'Auberge celebrates its 75 years.

Departmental Administration of
